According to the scriptures:

God and the Bible

There is one God eternally existent as the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost who gave his word to holy men of God which spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. These words were/are inspired, have been preserved and are available to the English-speaking world in the Authorized King James Bible. This Bible is our final authority in all matters. (1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 John 5:7-8, John 10:30…Psalms 12:6-7, 1 John 5:11-13, 2 Timothy 3:16…)

Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ is God, the Word, manifest in the flesh, virgin born, without sin, crucified for the sins of man, risen and coming again to receive His church and establish His kingdom. (John 1:1-14, 8:58, 10:30, 20:28, Isaiah 9:6…)

Salvation

Salvation is available to all men by grace through faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, apart from human works or merit of any kind. According to the Bible all men are dead in trespasses and sin until they are born again by repenting, believing in Jesus Christ. A saved child of God is eternally secure, sealed, taught and comforted by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. (John 6:47, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5…)

Sorrow and Repentance

Rightly divided and rightly defined sorrow means sorrow and repent means repent. Repent means to change and sorrow means sorrow. The Bible teaches that a lost person hears the gospel, has godly sorrow which means a sorrow for sin and its consequence. This sorrow leads a sinner who is condemned and without hope to repent, believe on Jesus Christ for salvation which is the forgiveness of sins and the deliverance from guilt, shame, condemnation and eternal punishment in the lake of fire. To believe is to repent in the context of salvation through Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:17, 3:20, John 3:18, Romans 6:23, 2 Corinthians 7:10, Acts 16:31, Romans 10:10.)

Heaven and Hell

All who refuse to repent and reject the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity in a literal lake of fire with Satan, the one responsible for the fall of man. Those who repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity in the glorious presence of God where there will be no more sin. (Luke 12:5, 16:23, 2 Peter 2:9, Revelation 20:6-15…)

The Body of Christ

Saving faith in Jesus Christ makes one a member of the body of Christ and members of this body gather together throughout the world, in local churches, where they worship God, minister to each other and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the unsaved. (John 17:20-21, 1 Corinthians 1:2 12:13…)

Church Gatherings

Jesus Christ is the head of the Body of Christ and the Church Gatherings. Men preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and believers gather into a regularly assembling congregation. The Evangelist(s) stay on to oversee the church and/or turn it over to a man who meets the qualifications of a Pastor. It is of paramount importance for Evangelists and Pastors to be approved of God for these responsibilities. (1 Corinthians 11:18…)

Church Membership

Since Christians are members of the body of Christ there are no Biblical reasons to compel Christians to partake in local church memberships. If a believer desires, as God leads them, to join the church they are welcome so long as there are no scriptural reasons to exclude them. (1 Peter 5:1-4, 2 Peter 2:3, 2 Corinthians 3:17…)

Lawful Assembly

We are not a registered charity but a lawful assembly. We strive to comply with all Government and Revenue Canada Laws. (Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms)

Ordinances

Water baptism is an act of obedience and public testimony made by the believer in Christ and plays no part in salvation or making one a member of a local church. (Acts 8:36-38…)

We observe the Lord’s Supper after each service. It is a solemn remembrance of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and his coming again. The grape juice and bread are symbols of his shed blood and broken body. (Luke 22:19, 1 Corinthians 11:24-26…)

End Times

The Resurrection

The Bible teaches that Gods wrath will be poured out on this earth and on all those who have rejected Him. Jesus Christ will return for the church/saints, the dead in Christ shall rise first, and then those which are alive and remain will meet him in the air. All believers will be changed and receive new glorified bodies.

Judgement

After a reign of 1000 years on the Earth, everyone who ever lived will be judged by Jesus at the great white throne judgement. All who are not written in the Lamb’s book of life will be cast into the lake of fire forever. After this the earth will be destroyed and a new heaven and new earth will be created, and the city of New Jerusalem will come down from Heaven, where all believers will spend eternity with the Lord.
